life street situation, reacting to different situations and dealing with them.
Often these classes are more technical.

Eskrima and Panajakaman Eskrima, Pentjak Silat (an Indonesian martial art) - General
Weapon awareness, Blending your progressive Kickboxing techniques, Counter attacks, Reaction
training, Take downs, Groundwork, Locks, Various Drills
including Energy and Sensitivity Drills. How to
utilize everyday objects in a defence
situation.
Streetwise classes typically consist
of:
Many of the techniques and skills in the Streetwise
class are learnt, practised and developed with a partner and
includes focus pads for the sharp precision techniques. We also use
protective clothing during this training ranging from finger less
gloves and elbow pads/forearm guards to full combat protective
clothing including headgear. We find that when students reach an
acceptable level of basic skill and conditioning they can adopt
various protective clothing to wear some more of the shots to keep
things a little edgy and in more of a sparring manor, which is
greatly favoured amongst our students as you can train a bit more
realistically than simply striking pads.
The Streetwise classes are blended with the
Progressive Kickboxing classes.
All classes are suitable for complete beginners,
intermediate and advanced students.
